Humdrum Life

A tree that bears apples 

as red as the sun can be

could it be a sign that its a good tree

or its a good apple

Can a bad tree bear fruit a good apple

or can a good tree bear fruit to a bad apple

the answers can most likely change

for this world is unpredictable

full of surprises 

like a gift from christmas morning 

you'll never know what you're going to get

unless you a peek the day before

you cheated yourself the surprise

there's no more thrill anymore

and without thrill 

this world would be dull 

and no more trees 

because we'll invent apples instead
